Job summary

Carver Road Hospitality in New York, NY is hiring a Broiler Cook to join our team at flagship venues including Carversteak, Rosevale Cocktail Room, and Starchild Rooftop.

You will prepare meat, poultry, and seafood on the grill, follow recipes and temperatures, and keep the station clean and efficient in a fast-paced setting. Must have 1–2 years broiler/grill experience; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of broiler or grill station experience.
• Solid understanding of meat cuts, doneness levels, and charbroiling techniques.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume kitchen.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the broiler and grill station efficiently.
• Cook steaks, burgers, poultry, and seafood to specified temperatures.
• Season and marinate proteins per recipes.
• Follow orders from POS and expeditor; maintain station cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory and rotate stock using FIFO.
• Attend pre-service meetings and adhere to food safety guidelines.
