Job summary

Carver Road Hospitality is hiring professional Line Cooks for our New York venues, including Carversteak, Rosevale Cocktail Room, and Starchild Rooftop, located in the Civilian Hotel. The Line Cook prepares food using Company recipes and keeps the kitchen running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handles allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications.
• Accurately follows all orders from POS and expeditor.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, kitchen, and venue.
• Adheres to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards.
• Possesses knowledge of assigned recipes and execution.
• Communicates product needs to support staff.
• Checks cover counts, BEOs, and Fire Sheets.
• Pans, plates, and garnishes dishes following standard procedures.
• Performs inventory checks and food storage logs.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces as needed.
• Sets up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
• Attends daily pre-service meetings.
• Maintains professional appearance standards per Employee Handbook.
