The role visits farms, evaluates flock performance, resolves issues, and acts as the primary liaison between growers and the live production team, coordinating vaccination, records, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No prior poultry experience required; general knowledge of animal husbandry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional relationship with contract producers.
• Inspect farms for compliance with grower agreements.
• Follow the company’s safety policies.
• Adhere to strict biosecurity guidelines.
• Draw blood and collect tissue samples per guidelines.
• Monitor farm conditions and bird health; communicate with Broiler Manager.
• Vaccinate and manage water/spray programs.
• Keep detailed flock records.
• Coordinate with management and service technicians on schedules.
• Maintain company vehicle and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborate with State and company Veterinarians.
