Job summary

Penske Entertainment in Indianapolis is seeking a Broadcast Operations professional to support INDYCAR broadcasts. You will own key tasks, collaborate across departments, and bring energy to a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3-5 years in broadcast operations, knowledge of live sports broadcasts, and hands-on experience with heavy equipment. Travel to events is required, and you will supervise seasonal crews while upholding our standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in broadcast operations.
• Current knowledge of live sports broadcasts.
• Experience with heavy equipment (i.e. scissor lift, booms, forklifts).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, flexible mindset and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create camera lists and maps for each INDYCAR on FOX broadcast.
• Lay out TV compounds for each INDYCAR venue.
• Act as a liaison between INDYCAR and FOX Sports to ensure broadcast needs are met.
• Secure quotes and order rental equipment or services from vendors.
• Submit purchase order requests before signing any rental agreements.
• Receive and place heavy equipment at each racetrack.
• Request broadcast credentials and parking permits for the broadcast team.
• Create catering orders with the IMSP catering vendor.
• Assist with day‑to‑day on‑site broadcast operations at each venue.
• Other duties as assigned by Sr. Director, Broadcast Operations.
