Job summary

Penske Entertainment, located in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a seasoned broadcast operations professional to lead on-site supervision of seasonal crews for INDYCAR broadcasts. You will own planning, organize resources, and oversee broadcast activities across venues, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality production standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in broadcast ops, strong collaboration, and proven ability to work in fast-paced event environments.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in broadcast operations.
  • Current knowledge of live sports broadcasts.
  • Experience with heavy equipment (e.g. scissor lift, booms, forklifts).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Alignment with Penske Entertainment’s core values.

Responsibilities

  • Create camera lists and maps for each INDYCAR on FOX broadcast.
  • Lay out TV compounds for each INDYCAR venue.
  • Liaise between INDYCAR and FOX Sports to meet broadcast needs.
  • Secure quotes and order rental equipment or services from vendors.
  • Submit purchase order requests before signing rental agreements.
  • Receive and place heavy equipment at each racetrack.
  • Request broadcast credentials and parking permits for the broadcast team.
  • Create catering orders with the IMSP catering vendor.
  • Assist with day-to-day on-site broadcast operations at each venue.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sr. Director, Broadcast Operations.
