Job summary

NBA is seeking a Broadcast Operations Management Lead for Local Media to oversee day-to-day live and time-shifted productions across NBA and WNBA markets. You will manage a team of full-time staff and supplemental Operations Managers, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality broadcasts.

You will partner with Production Technology, Engineering, and Distribution to integrate systems and workflows, while driving standardization and continuous improvement across all markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Production, Media, Communications, Technology, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in broadcast operations, live production, or related fields.
• Experience managing teams and vendor networks across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Broadcast Operations Management team across NBA and WNBA markets.
• Establish standards, workflows, and performance expectations for reliable execution.
• Oversee game and production operations, including scheduling, venue requirements, and logistics.
• Maintain alignment with production technology, engineering, and distribution teams.
• Build vendor relationships and drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Support staffing, equipment, and capacity planning for the production calendar.
