Job summary

FOX is seeking a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer for WTXF TV to ensure 24/7/365 broadcast operations. The role entails preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of master control rooms, studio gear, and control systems, with awareness of Grass Valley ITX, Sony switchers, ELC, Ross Robotics, and Bit Central Playout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in TV engineering, a strong IT background, and VM environment knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of TV Engineering experience.
• Strong IT background.
• Knowledge of Virtual Machine Environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on broadcast equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted broadcasts.
• Maintain and repair Automated Master Control and Production Control Rooms.
• Assist in design and commissioning of new technologies at studio and facilities.
• Collaborate with team to support operations and improve performance.
