FOX is seeking a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer for WTXF TV to ensure 24/7/365 broadcast operations. The role entails preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of master control rooms, studio gear, and control systems, with awareness of Grass Valley ITX, Sony switchers, ELC, Ross Robotics, and Bit Central Playout.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in TV engineering, a strong IT background, and VM environment knowledge.

Eighteen are FOX Network affiliates, and together the stations produce approximately 1,300 hours of local news every week.

JOB DESCRIPTION
WTXF TV is seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of our 24/7/365 television broadcast by performing daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across all equipment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of systems, including Automated Master Control Systems, Automated Production Control Rooms, Studio Production equipment, Camera Control Systems, Robotic Pedestals, Remote Production ENG equipment, Newsroom Video Playback and Archive solutions, non-linear edit systems, and satellite distribution systems. Experience in a Technical Operations Center is advantageous.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $49.50 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
