Job summary

Forum Communications Company seeks a Sales Director to drive revenue growth across broadcast and digital platforms in the Fargo area. You will lead a team of local Account Executives, develop go-to-market strategies, and collaborate with the General Sales Manager to exceed targets.

You will mentor sales staff, nurture advertiser relationships, and leverage data analytics to maximize opportunities while upholding the highest levels of integrity and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have education in sales, advertising, marketing, communication and/or public relations; previous working experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Previous experience developing and leading a sales team strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of effective business development and account management, with a customer focused approach to sales and service.
• Excellent communication and technological skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of local Account Executives in broadcast and digital sales.
• Maintain, develop, and expand a local sales list.
• Initiate and participate in special promotions, packages, and new projects.
• Develop and execute go-to-market sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.
• Set targets, monitor performance, and provide insights to drive growth.
• Hire and lead new sales team members with senior support.
• Own the training process for sales personnel.
• Mentor, motivate, and support sales staff while maintaining high integrity.
