Job summary

Hollywood Park is seeking a part-time Broadcast Coordinator to support the Broadcast Department across events at SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater. You will provide administrative support to executives overseeing Broadcast Operations & Production, including events, concerts, and stadium activities.

The role requires at least one year of administrative experience, ability to manage multiple calendars, and comfort working on a large campus with physical tasks. Office-based, onsite in Inglewood, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in video production, sports or entertainment environment.
• At least 1 year of administrative work experience.
• Ability to walk long distances on a large campus and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with operating golf carts around a large venue.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and multitasking.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to maintain multiple event calendars simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating Broadcast Operations & Production activities.
• Assist with event settlements and post-event reporting.
• Assist with event week logistics and support.
• Coordinate calendars and meetings for department executives.
• Maintain broadcast and event calendar.
• Coordinate building access and credentials.
• Coordinate client event requests.
• Monitor operations like lighting, AV systems, cleanliness, and aesthetics; address deficiencies.
• Learn and operate event software for ticketing, retail, inventory, and space usage.
• Resolve financial, inventory, and numeric discrepancies.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
• Set up snacks and meals for crew and break areas.

As the Broadcast Coordinator, You Will...

The Broadcast Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Broadcast Department in the planning, execution, and post-production of all events at Hollywood Park, SoFi Stadium, and YouTube Theater. This includes major sporting events (Rams, Chargers), concerts, private events, and other productions. The Broadcast Coordinator will provide administrative support to multiple executives who oversee the Broadcast Operations & Production department.

• Assist in coordinating Broadcast Operations & Production activities.
• Assist with event settlements and post-event reporting.
• Assist with event week logistics and support.

• Check the status of operations, lighting, audiovisual systems, cleanliness, and system. operation, and correct aesthetic deficiencies.
• Learn and operate event software systems for ticketing, retail, inventory, and space usage.
• Resolve financial, inventory, and numeric discrepancies.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
• Set up snacks and meals for the crew and break area.

Work Schedule:

This is a part time position with normal work hours of 9am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday, though some nights and weekends may be required. Position will not exceed 30 hours per week. This is not a hybrid role, you will be required to work in the office.

Location: Inglewood, CA (onsite)

Hourly Range:$26.80 - $32.55

Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
