Job summary

Inabia Solutions & Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced NOC Network Support Engineer to support a client's production broadband network and services after launch.

This hands-on role covers monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting across broadband access, aggregation, transport, and IP services while ensuring customer connectivity. You will work with NOC, network engineering, operations, service assurance, and vendors to restore service, drive incidents to resolution, and document

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Layer 2/3 production networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, and routing.
• Experience with BGP and/or OSPF/IS-IS.
• VRFs, NAT/CGNAT, QoS, and IP service delivery experience.
• Proficiency using network device CLI for configuration/state investigation.
• Experience with packet capture and analysis (Wireshark or tcpdump).
• Ability to interpret alarms, logs, and telemetry.
• Experience managing production incidents and escalations.
• Excellent cross-team communication.
• ONSITE availability in Seattle, WA, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network alarms, dashboards, logs, and telemetry to identify outages and degradation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, routing, and service performance issues.
• Isolate faults across CPE, access, aggregation, transport, and IP layers.
• Investigate Layer 2/3 issues including VLANs, ARP, STP, QoS, and IP services.
• Manage incidents from initial investigation through restoration and closure.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors for resolution.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting runbooks and post-incident reviews.
