Job summary

Inabia Solutions & Consulting Inc. is seeking a NOC Network Support Engineer to support a production broadband network. This hands-on role focuses on monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting across broadband access, routing, IP services, and customer connectivity.

You will work closely with NOC personnel, network engineering, and vendors to maintain network availability, identify faults, and drive incidents to resolution. Onsite in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production Layer 2/3 networks.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, and routing.
• Experience with BGP and OSPF and/or IS-IS.
• Experience with VRFs, routing policies, NAT/CGNAT, QoS.
• Ability to use network device CLI to investigate configurations and state.
• Experience with packet capture using Wireshark or tcpdump.
• Interpret alarms, logs, interface stats, routing tables, and telemetry.
• Coordinate incidents and document technical findings.
• Clear communication across technical teams during service-impacting incidents.
• Onsite availability to work five days per week in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network alarms and telemetry to identify outages and performance issues.
• Validate alerts, assess customer impact, prioritize incidents, and initiate response.
• Correlate customer-reported issues with network events and changes.
• Identify recurring alarms and recommend improvements to procedures.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, latency, and service performance issues.
• Isolate faults across user access, aggregation, transport, IP, and service layers.
• Engage vendors and cross-functional teams to restore service.
• Maintain accurate tickets with actions and resolutions.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting procedures and runbooks.
