Inabia Software & Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced L2/L3 Network Technical Support Engineer to provide post-launch support for a broadband service provider.

The role involves diagnosing and resolving complex issues across access, IP, transport, and service layers, with close collaboration across NOC, engineering, and vendors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on troubleshooting skills, experience with VLANs, BGP/OSPF, and packet analysis, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Hands-on experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks in production.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, ARP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, routing and IP connectivity.
Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF/IS-IS.

Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 technical support for production broadband network issues after service launch.
Troubleshoot incidents involving customer connectivity, service degradation, and network performance.
Analyze issues across the network stack to locate root causes and affected domains.
Perform fault isolation and identify contributing network elements or configurations.
Collaborate with NOC, engineering, operations, vendors and other teams to resolve production issues.
