Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate CNAs, HHAs and PCAs to provide personalized in-home care. You will promote dignity, safety, and independence while delivering essential personal care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Caregivers receive paid training if not yet certified and will work with patients in their own homes, supporting daily living activities, mobility and well-being under supervision. Competitive weekly pay and bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• State and Federal training requirements will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record patient temperature; assist with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and light activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Assistants (PCA). You'll provide essential personal care tailored to each patient's needs, promoting dignity, safety, and independence — and if you're not yet certified, we offer paid training.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperatureAssist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Preferred: current CPR certification
• Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test
