Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Indiana is hiring compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to deliver in-home personal care with dignity and safety. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor well-being, and report changes to supervisors.

Training is provided if you are not yet certified, and we offer a supportive team environment with a flexible schedule. Competitive weekly pay, overtime, holiday pay, and direct deposit are available, along with recognition programs and bonuses for outstanding

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided).
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Preferred: current CPR certification
• Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
