Altra Homecare Group in Indiana seeks caring, compassionate, and dependable caregivers to join our home-based care team. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling and a supportive environment to help clients live safely and comfortably at home.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, reminders, safety monitoring, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and thorough documentation. Training is provided, with opportunities for recognition through awards and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Training provided per State and Federal laws.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Preferred: TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry and light meals as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor safety.
• Report significant changes to supervisor.
• Monitor and record patient temperature and ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and simple activities.
• Maintain documentation and follow care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Provide bathing assistance and light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship, including letter-writing and reading.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when requiredMonitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Preferred: current CPR certification
• Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test
