Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Indiana is seeking compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide in-home care that promotes dignity, safety, and independence for patients. You will perform personal care tasks and support daily living in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Compliance with State and Federal training requirements (training provided).
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Preferred: TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient’s condition to the supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
