Emmi Roth is seeking a Brine Team Member to monitor brining and maintain logs, ensuring proper timing and quality of cheese. You will work in a fast-paced cheese-making environment, handling brine operations, record-keeping, and equipment sanitation.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to high-quality product and rigorous food safety practices in a respected specialty cheese facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheese making or food manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Place cheese into brine after the acidification stage.
• Monitor brine salinity, temperature and pH and adjust to target levels.
• Move products safely within the facility and remove cheese from brine after required time.
• Maintain tanks, brine room cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keep accurate records of cheese brining and logs.
• Identify and report safety hazards and injuries promptly.
