Job summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join the Mechanicsburg, PA office. This role offers the chance to learn, participate in AECOM's Graduate Development Program, and contribute to the design of steel and concrete bridges and other transportation structures.

You will work on projects from concept through construction, guided by experienced engineers, with opportunities to grow regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• US Citizenship required for this position.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and must pass AECOM motor vehicle records review.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, rehabilitate and inspect highway bridges and related transportation structures.
• Use computer software to solve engineering problems.
• Develop work details and select engineering alternatives under supervision.
• Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Prepare cost estimates and construction schedules under supervision.
• Work within budget and schedule under supervision.
