Qualifications

• Completed courses in statics, strength of materials, steel design, and reinforced concrete design.
• Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to detail.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in developing calculations using Excel or Mathcad.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
• Prepare engineering related calculations.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Assist in the inspection of bridges, culverts, and tunnels.
• Prepare details for construction drawings using CAD software.
• Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
