Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a dedicated maintenance technician to repair highway structures and movable/ fixed bridges. You will set up MOT, work at heights, and use power tools to maintain slopes, drains, and fender systems.

Applicants should have a HS diploma, one year of construction experience, and a valid driver's license. CDL/DOT and welding certifications are highly desirable. Willingness to respond to emergencies is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with optional CDL/DOT certifications.
• One year of construction maintenance/repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures including concrete and steel components.
• Set up and remove Maintenance of Traffic controls (cones, boards, signage).
• Work from heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders and lifts.
• Repair/maintain bridge slopes, berms, drains and fender systems.
• Operate vegetation control equipment and perform grounds maintenance.
• Be available for emergency response rotations including after-hours.
