Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks skilled maintenance personnel to service and repair bridge and highway structures at on-site locations in Florida. The role involves working with heavy machinery, performing structural repairs, and maintaining safety through proper PPE and hazard awareness.

The position requires a HS Diploma or GED, and a valid CDL with DOT certifications is highly desirable. Candidates should be able to work in diverse weather and respond to emergency rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; one-year construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• CDL and DOT certifications are highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair highway structures (concrete, steel, joints, painting).
• Operate traffic control devices to ensure MOT safety.
• Work at heights from bucket trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial platforms.
• Repair slopes, berms, drains and fender systems; manage vegetation with power tools and herbicides.
• Transport crew and equipment to worksites; respond to overtime or emergency rotations.
