Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Bridge Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for bridge projects in the Shreveport, LA area. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating crews, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, site inspections, and maintaining records. A minimum of 7–10 years in bridge construction is required; OSHA 30 preferred; travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in bridge construction, superintendent or similar role.
• Experience managing heavy civil bridge projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and construction documents.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site bridge construction activities from planning to completion.
• Develop and implement project schedules; monitor progress and report deviations.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment and materials; manage on-site crews.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.
• Inspect site quality and ensure compliance with plans.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily reports, safety logs and progress records.
