Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking a Bridge Superintendent to lead field operations on our nationwide projects. You will plan labor, equipment, and material needs, coordinate with foremen, crews, subcontractors, and inspectors, and ensure safety and compliance across the site.

The role requires proven leadership, ability to manage multiple tasks, travel, and a valid US driver’s license. Strong communication and planning skills are essential for reliable project execution.

Qualifications

• Basic abilities to use MS Word, Excel, and COINS Systems.
• Willing and able to manage crews.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised.
• Team player and self-motivated to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily for labor, equipment, tools and material needs.
• Coordinate with crews, Foremen and other Superintendents to complete required tasks as a team.
• Hold Foremen accountable to track crew hours, equipment hours, material and quantities on a daily basis.
• Assure daily JHA’s and Toolbox Safety Talks with crew(s) are completed.
• Hold crews accountable to work safely and assure PPE is utilized as required per UIG Safety Manual.
• Assure work planning has been completed for activities prior to execution of the work; follow up with Foremen on planning.
• Coordinate daily with Subcontractors to ensure readiness and compliance with schedule and safety.
• Communicate layout requirements in advance of scheduled work.
• Assist PM and Project Engineers with 3-week lookahead schedules and work planning.
• Understand production requirements of the work.
• Ensure daily equipment inspections are completed and submitted to management.
• Pre-plan utility locates and mark project prior to starting work.
• Coordinate with inspectors as needed.
• Coordinate with Engineers on Plans and Specifications.
• Coordinate MOT and ensure compliance with project specs.
• Ensure lift planning and rigging requirements are met.
• Ensure trained riggers and signal persons are on site as needed.
• Ensure Crane operators are on the crew as required.
