Kimley-Horn's Palm Beach Gardens, Florida office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join their Bridge Structures team. This is not a remote position, based in Florida.

You will perform structural analysis, develop full sets of drawings and specifications, and lead construction phase efforts on building projects. The role requires PE license or the ability to obtain within 12 months, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and structural analysis software (STAAD,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering design experience.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp for drawings as needed.
• Experience with structural analysis software (STAAD, RAM, ETabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT).
• Strong time management to meet client deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role on bridge design projects.
• Perform structural analysis, design, and planning on bridges and transportation structures.
• Develop full sets of structural drawings and specs without guidance.
• Lead construction phase support on building projects.
• Mentor Engineers-In-Training in structural engineering.
• Prepare project submittal packages and maintain QC across projects.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and team members in meetings.
• Identify project opportunities through networking.
