Job summary

Kimley-Horn is recruiting engineering graduates to join the West Palm Beach, Florida office in 2026. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include using technical software to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables, supporting pre-construction civil design, and collaborating across disciplines to realize clients' visions. Expect to learn software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027.
  • Majors include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, produce, and QC deliverables using technical software.
  • Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
  • Solve complex problems and assist project managers; collaborate across disciplines.
  • Develop familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn’s and clients’ practices and standards.
  • Learn software programs including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
