Job summary

Timmons Group, a national engineering firm, seeks a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join its Structures and Bridge Design Group in Raleigh, NC. You will work on bridges, buildings, renewable energy, and related structures, collaborating on routine to complex designs and project tasks.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 2+ years in bridge design, and strong communication. Master’s degree and PE license are pluses, with proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD, NBIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in structural and/or bridge design.
• PE License is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with design software including MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform rehabilitation designs for bridges and buildings.
• Conduct bridge load ratings and evaluations.
• Support project planning including scope, schedule, and budget development.
• Assist in project and task management.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and proposal development.
