Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Structures and Bridge Design Group in Richmond, VA. This role works on routine and complex structures including bridges, buildings, and renewable energy projects.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering, 2+ years in design, and a PE license is a plus. Proficiency with MicroStation or AutoCAD is required, and NBIS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in structural and/or bridge design.
• PE License is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, and NCDOT standards.
• Proficiency in structural design software.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for plan development.
• NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus.

Compensation:Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $82,000-$90,000.This position is eligible for straight-time overtime. There may be flexibilityon salaryfor experienced candidates. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education,credentialsrole complexity.
