Kimley-Horn's Jacksonville office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our Bridge Structures team. This is not a remote position.
You will lead bridge design projects, perform structural analysis, and develop drawings and specifications. Mentoring EITs and engaging with clients are core parts of the role, with opportunities to grow professionally within a respected firm.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
- P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Experience with bridge design and structural analysis software.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve in a technical role on bridge design projects.
- Perform structural analysis, design, and planning on bridges and other transportation structures.
- Develop full sets of structural drawings and specifications.
- Lead and mentor Engineers-In-Training (EITs).
- Support meetings with clients and design team members.
- Identify project opportunities through networking.
