Job summary

Consor in Missoula, MT is seeking a Group Manager for the Structural Assessment practice to lead field inspections on bridges, tunnels, and other structures, ensuring public safety and reliable reporting. You will manage inspection schedules, coordinate with owners and agencies, and balance field work with report writing and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead the work of others and maintain relationships.

• Knowledge of bridge inspection methods and NBIS standards.
• Ability to perform field inspections using various access methods.

Responsibilities

• Inspections of assigned bridges and preparation of written reports on conditions.
• Lead in-depth inspections using non-destructive testing, access equipment, or climbing gear.
• Post-incident inspections to determine damage and recommended actions.
• Coordinate with bridge owners and agencies on schedules, traffic control, and access.
• Lead the Structural Assessment group, including instruction, staffing input, and performance guidance.
