Job summary

Consor is seeking a Group Manager for the Structural Assessment practice in Missoula, MT. You will lead inspection teams in the field, oversee reports, and ensure public safety for bridges, tunnels, and related structures.

The role balances field work with report writing, scheduling, and client interaction to represent Consor effectively. The position requires leadership, knowledge of bridge inspection methods and NBIS, and the ability to manage inspections and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bridge inspection methods and NBIS procedures.
• Experience with report procedures.
• Team leadership and client liaison abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspections and prepare written reports on bridge conditions.
• Perform and lead in-depth inspections using NBIS-adjacent methods and access gear.
• Assess post-incident bridge conditions and recommend actions.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with owners and agencies.
• Lead the Structural Assessment group and mentor staff.
