Job summary

gpac is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support bridge rehabilitation, bridge replacement, and specialty infrastructure projects. This role offers a strong career path toward becoming a Superintendent.

Travel is required. You will supervise foremen, coordinate subcontractors, equipment, materials and site logistics, while monitoring schedules, safety and quality across complex field operations.

Qualifications

• Construction, field operations, or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Heavy civil, bridge, or concrete repair experience is a plus.
• Ability to read construction plans and specs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily field operations and crew coordination.
• Lead and supervise project foremen.
• Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, materials, and site logistics.
• Monitor schedules, progress, safety, and quality.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Communicate field issues and updates to project leadership.
