Job summary

gpac is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support bridge rehabilitation, bridge replacement, and specialty infrastructure projects, with a clear path toward becoming a Superintendent. This hands-on field leadership role focuses on coordinating crews, reading plans, and ensuring safety and quality while traveling to project sites as required.

Ideal candidates will have heavy civil or bridge experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil, bridge, or concrete repair preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

$105,000-$125,000 base salary, with total target compensation of approximately $115,000-$140,000 including per diem and bonus. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, stock investment program, and company vehicle for qualifying roles.

Traveling field position with opportunities for advancement into a Superintendent role.
