Job summary

HNTB Corporation is recruiting a Bridge Senior Project Engineer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The office handles complex transportation projects with TxDOT, DART, NTTA and major airports, backed by an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities include leading disciplinary planning, managing scope and budgets, and mentoring team members across multi-disciplinary projects. Requires a BS in Engineering with extensive experience; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 6+ years.
• PE license preferred.
• Ability to manage scope, budget, and schedules on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider broad range of engineering solutions.
• Oversees discipline planning, work distribution, and leadership with schedule and budget on complex projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and effort, manages adherence to scope and budget.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the discipline.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinates technical aspects with client and partners on complex projects.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
