Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead bridge design efforts on transportation projects. You will guide complex analysis, supervise junior engineers, and serve as a technical expert on mid-size programs.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, 10+ years of bridge design experience, and proficiency with major engineering tools like MicroStation, LEAP, and AASHTOWare BrR. The role offers a collaborative, employee-owned culture and challenging projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Minimum of 10 years bridge design experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of bridge design projects.
Familiar with key engineering software packages and standards.

Responsibilities

Lead technical role on bridge design projects.
Perform complex structural planning, analysis and design for transportation projects.
Work on projects including bridges, box culverts, and interchange designs for highway and railway projects.
Serve as a technical specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects and mentor junior engineers.
