Job summary

S&Me, Inc. is seeking a CEI Bridge and Roadway Inspector for Southern West Virginia. The role focuses on field inspections of bridge and roadway constructions, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with design specifications.

You will collect materials, perform basic tests, document daily reports, and communicate with engineers, contractors, and clients to keep projects on track. This is a full-time position based in Southern West Virginia with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/experience options required: HS diploma plus highway inspection experience, or technical degree with highway experience, or BS in a related field.
• WV TRET Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong English communication, math, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field inspections ofbridges and roadways to ensure plans and safety standards are met.
• Collect and document material samples and perform basic field tests.
• Maintain inspection logs, daily reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, environmental measures, permits, DBE and EEO requirements.
