Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Bridge Project Manager to lead bridge design projects in the Pittsburgh, PA area, working with PennDOT and local agencies. The role requires PE licensure in Pennsylvania, 8+ years of bridge engineering experience, and strong client management skills.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with sub-consultants, and oversee budgets, schedules, and quality standards on high-profile regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Eng; master’s preferred.
• PE license in Pennsylvania.
• 8+ years bridge engineering; 2+ years PM/manager.
• Strong PennDOT standards knowledge.
• Experience with LPAs or federally funded programs.
• Proficient in LEAP Concrete, MDX, Midas, AASHTOWare; know MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge design projects including team management and client communication.
• Prepare plans, calculations, and specs per PennDOT and AASHTO.
• Manage sub-consultants and internal teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Support proposals, scopes, and regional business development.
• Ensure quality, safety, and client requirements compliance.
• Serve as primary client contact and oversee site visits as needed.
