Job summary

Garver Engineering is seeking a Bridge Project Manager in Franklin, Tennessee. You will lead the design of bridge projects for state and local DOTs, coordinate multi-disciplinary design efforts, and manage client communications and project documentation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• PE licensure or eligibility to obtain license via reciprocity.
• 10–15 years of transportation design experience with knowledge of AASHTO LRFD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design of bridge projects for state and local DOTs.
• Lead bridge-focused projects or act as bridge lead on transportation projects.
• Coordinate design with other disciplines and subconsultants.
• Communicate with the client on deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports and calculations for deliverables.
• Interact with clients, including preparing communications and documentation.
• Mentor and train younger engineers on bridge and structural design.
• Serve as QA/QC SME for reviewing deliverables.
• Support the client during bid phase and construction, including RFIs and addenda.
