Job summary

The office operates a four-day work week. Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering, an EIT, and 4–8 years of bridge-related experience, with proficiency in MicroStation, STAAD, InRoads, and related tools.

Qualifications

• EIT required.
• 4–8 years of bridge engineering experience including design, plan preparation, structural analysis, quantity calculation and construction support.
• Proficiency with NJDOT, NJTA, and PANYNJ projects and standard design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior staff on technical design and project tasks.
• Plan, administer, and design structural bridge projects per state and federal standards.
• Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for reinforced/prestressed concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare engineering reports, plans, specs, and estimates.
• Utilize STAAD, PennDOT ABLRFD, L-Pile, and MathCAD for project delivery.
• Develop quantities and cost estimates and ensure on-time delivery of PS&E documents.
• Develop detailed bridge plans with CADD and review project drawings.
