Qualifications

• 4–8 years of bridge engineering experience including design and plan preparation.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred or obtainable within 1 year.
• Proficiency with AASHTO LRFD and structural design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers on design and project tasks.
• Plan, administer, and design structural bridge projects to standards.
• Perform detailed structural analysis for reinforced/prestressed concrete and steel.
• Prepare calculations, reports, plans, specs, and estimates.
• Use STAAD, L-Pile, MicroStation, LEAP, and similar tools for delivery.
• Ensure PS&E documents are delivered on time with coordination across locations.
• Conduct quality control and assurance in project execution.
• Develop quantities and cost estimates to maintain budgets.
• Develop detailed bridge plans and specs with CAD.
• Keep up-to-date with industry codes and client objectives.
• Oversee field work: surveys, data collection, construction observation, RFIs.
