Job summary

Clemson University is seeking an Assistant Director to coordinate the Bridge to Clemson transfer pathway, delivering academic advising, orientation, and support that promote student success and a smooth transition to Clemson University.

You will oversee the Supplemental Instruction program, supervise staff, collaborate with campus and Tri-County Technical College staff, and help design and assess advising services and transfer program initiatives to boost retention and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to student services.
• Master's degree in Education, Management, Communication, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program, including supervision of staff and scheduling.
• Assist in design, delivery, and assessment of Bridge academic advising programs and services; provide one-to-one advising.
• Collaborate with Transfer Programs staff to enhance engagement and retention for new transfer students.
