The NC Department of Transportation is seeking an Engineering Supervisor II (NS) to lead the Division Bridge Program. This role will oversee the maintenance, preservation, design and construction of major structures across Division 1 and coordinate with internal units and external partners.

The successful candidate will manage project prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic program decisions while ensuring compliance with DOT procedures.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution plus four years of progressively responsible experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and monitor management strategies for bridge and structure inventory.
• Specialize in bridge maintenance, preservation, rehabilitation, design and construction.
• Recommend allocation and management of resources for bridges and structures.
• Serve as the liaison for division maintenance-related issues and projects.
• Coordinate with units and agencies to minimize project delays.
• Coordinate project prioritization and selection for preservation and upgrades.
• Monitor bridge and structure trends and lead new preservation initiatives.
• Identify training needs related to bridges and structures.
