Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a Bridge Technician in Bartow, FL. The role involves performing maintenance on bridge projects and operating heavy highway equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have at least 1 year of roadway experience.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Ability to drag 50 lbs for 150 ft and lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must be able to drive standard shift vehicles.
• Ability to obtain ATSSA certification for traffic control installation.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy highway equipment as needed.
• Perform concrete spill repair and railing repairs.
• Repair joints and repair fencing and signs as required.
• Clean and paint steel; maintain drainage structures and shoulders.
• Assist with emergency response and general bridge maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and use equipment safely.
• Receive Advanced MOT training.
