Qualifications

• One year of experience performing basic highway maintenance work.
• Two years of general landscaping, maintenance, mechanical, farming, logging, and/or construction experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light equipment to maintain, repair bridges and culverts.
• Construct and place rigging and scaffolding.
• Perform concrete, masonry, steel, woodwork and painting.
• Inspect structures for repairs.
• Assist with weather-related emergencies; operate snowplows and de-icer trucks.
• Perform minor surface repairs, pothole patching and inlay work.
• Clear debris and maintain drainage systems.
