The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Bridge Maintenance, seeks a Civil Engineer IV for professional supervision of statewide bridge maintenance functions. The role requires PE knowledge, strong leadership, and adherence to safety standards.

Location is Concord, NH. A Master’s or a Bachelor’s with extensive experience, plus essential licensure, are required. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with comprehensive compensation and benefits.

Formación

• Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Four years of post-baccalaureate engineering experience.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree with six years of post-baccalaureate experience.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with six years engineering/engineering technician experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises Bridge Maintenance crews and ensures safe construction practices.
• Generates designs and field engineering for maintenance needs.
• Acts as liaison between field crews, office staff, and the Department.
• Coordinates with programs to track safety and project performance.
• Develops training on materials/methods to improve quality and production.
• Oversees inventory, equipment, and material purchasing for the Bureau.
• Represents the Bureau at public meetings discussing work performed by the Bureau.
