Job summary

KS Engineers, P.C. in Newark, NJ is seeking a Bridge Inspector with NICET Level 3/4 or equivalent. Qualifications

• 7 years of Bridge construction projects experience.
• 3 years on NJDOT projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Personally inspect the bridge/structure.
• Supervise other inspection team members to verify proper inspection.
• Verify inspection results are properly documented.
• Verify all procedures required by the Client are implemented.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA requirements and MPT as required by jurisdiction.
• Ensure all equipment needed to complete the work is available.
• Train staff.
• Stay current with design criteria and technology.
• Proficient in software (engineering, drafting, administrative) required to complete projects.
• Monitor invoice ability and verify compliance with goals.
• Familiar with company policies and verify implementation and compliance.
• Complete timecard daily and ensure correct time charge information.
