Job summary

KS Engineers, P.C. is seeking a Resident Engineer/Asst RE (NICET IV or equivalent) to lead complex road and bridge projects from Newark or NYC region. You will supervise construction inspections, serve as the owner's on-site representative, and mentor staff while ensuring conformance with contract plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years on road and bridge projects (> $10M).
• NJDOT project experience preferred.
• NICET IV or equivalent certification required.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the construction inspection phase across various project types.
• Serve as the Owner's direct on-site representative to the contractor.
• Direct supervision of inspection staff; ensure conformance to plans and specs.
• Develop contractor change orders, as-built quantities, and monthly payment estimates.
• Represent owner with contractors and public agencies at all levels.
