Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• New York State Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain within one month).
• At least 3 years of bridge experience in design, construction, inspection or related bridge engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspection team and coordinate teams and equipment.
• Prepare in-office support for field inspection.
• Perform field measurements, evaluate existing conditions and document findings.
• Write the technical inspection reports.
• Prepare analysis and ratings for the structure.
• Perform load rating calculations and related analyses.
• Develop construction documents for repairs of field conditions.
