Job summary

EverHire in Boston seeks a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to direct inspection crews for bridges and tunnels, coordinating with clients and agencies to produce condition reports guiding maintenance and safety decisions in the region.

You will perform in-depth inspections with NDT, mechanised access, and climbing gear; oversee post-incident inspections, and mentor junior inspectors with potential growth into load ratings and design.

Qualifications

• NBIS-qualified as bridge or tunnel Team Leader.
• Experience leading teams and maintaining client relationships.
• Solid knowledge of bridge inspection methods, procedures and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections of bridges and tunnels and write condition reports.
• Lead in-depth inspections using non-destructive testing, mechanised access equipment and climbing gear.
• Perform post-incident inspections and advise on closures/detours.
• Coordinate with bridge owners and agencies on inspection schedules, traffic control, rail access and navigational channels.
• Assign and review work, coach and train team members, and provide input on staffing and performance.
• Support bridge load ratings and design work.
