Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Bridge Inspector Project Manager / Team Leader in Colorado to lead NBIS-compliant bridge inspections, prepare field reports, and mentor a project team within our Structural Assessment group.

The role supports a flexible hybrid work model with travel to our Colorado offices (Denver or Johnstown). The ideal candidate will have CBSI, strong client relations, and a proven track record in bridge inspection and load rating projects.

Qualifications

NBIS CBSI certification required and up-to-date refresher training.
CBSI Team Leader designation.
BSCE or related discipline preferred but not required.
EIT and PE registration preferred but not required.
Fracture Critical Inspection / Scour Evaluation training a plus.
SPRAT certification a plus.
Experience preparing inspection reports using iForms, BMS2, and NBE.

Responsibilities

Perform bridge inspections and load rating analysis in NBIS-compliant manner.
Lead project teams, mentor staff, and manage client relationships.
Prepare field inspection reports and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
Coordinate, plan, and manage multiple bridge inspection projects across Colorado.
Ensure safety, DOT/NBIS compliance, and proper documentation of findings.
